★ ★ ★ ★ ★ According to our senior local colleague, this is the original restaurant for "Ayam Goreng Suharti" in Yogyakarta. That the owner of the recipe was the " Ibu", and she did not franchise. Well, I am always a big fan of the chicken, and this one beats the rest!
Don't trust me until you try them yourself!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The famous fried chicken restaurant is in the past time. Crispy n crunchy fried chicken from Java chicken. Try the kopyor ice with rose syrup. It taste good n you will love it. They have chicken, fish n veggie meals and many varieties drink.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very famous local fried chicken with loads of loyal customers from different cities. The location is beside the main east road of Jogja, very easy to find and reach.
They don’t have many menu available since they are specialized in fried chicken. But you can also order fish menu if you prefer it. Taste is great hence the legendary name. Price is not cheap but still reasonable.
They have lots of seating available make it a perfect place for group lunch or dinner. They have separate smoking and non smoking area.
Con: one staff needs to ‘upgrade’ his attitude. I wish i can name him but i think it’s just him get too tired. Good luck for him.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The very classical and popular fried chicken from Jogja, still has that very same flavor from decades ago until now. One of the pionier in fried chicken with crispy crumbs. Beside the fried chicken, they also serving one of the best "Lodeh" Vegetable soup in town. Unfortunately the "old" nuance they try to preserve felt gloomy and obsolete, as may parts of the building were in bad condition. Service was also not that enjoyable. They really need to work on these aspects, not only focusing on the food quality.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best ayam goreng Suharti ever! Udah nyobain di mana2 sampe Jakarta tetep ini yg paling enak menurut saya. It's like we're going back in time. I came here 30 something years ago when I studied in Yogyakarta and I came here again in 2022 to find it exactly the same taste and same ambiance. Staff are very courteous and helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Words can't explain my feelings when i take a lunch in this restaurant. The place is quite normal. But the menus is spectacular. Go order yourself a whole chicken, and you'll know why I'm loving this place.
Oh, this place also have a Bakpia Tugu Stall in just sides with this restaurant.
