I do not recommended if you are really hungry and need to eat immediately, because they need to fry the chicken first and do the sambal directly, i think i never feel bored with this taste because i alawys buy this repeatedly

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best Pak Gembus franchise I have ever tasted in Jakarta. They keep Pak Gembus' cashew sambal recipe as real as possible. The place is tiny so most people prefer to get a takeaway, but they have such a very friendly service there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommended for those who like spiciness and hotness of Indonesian traditional 'sambal' mixed with home-cooked style fried chicken (not flour 'crispy').
Albeit the taste of the food is exotic, the place needs to be upgraded and we--the customers--need air-cons or perhaps some air fan to help us breath our way through our course.

They served Ayam Gepuk and Bakmi Jawa, either was delicious.
The Bakmi Jawa tasted original, sweet and spicy if you want.
