Your typical traditional indonesian street food vendor. Specialize in servin coffee which they put in a brick of hot coal, yea, a frickin brick of hot coal, inside a cup of coffee. You should try it. Dont worry bout cancer or any of that thing. Runs by bunch of friend i guess, they'll gladly talks with you bout anythin, especially bout jogja's political current, jogja's street life and all of that. Not a very clean place, since its at the side of a road, in front of train station. But the price and the people made it like its your home, and the experience of drinkin hot coffee with a brick of lava coal, nothin beats it.

Place: 5/10 What d'you expect? This is angkringan. LOL. Uncomfortable sitting position, very crowded, noisy, and full of cigarette smoke. Coffee: 8/10 Here you can enjoy kopi JOSS, a black coffe combined with charcoal. Food: 7/10 Small portion but cheap! :D Price: 10/10 Unbelievably cheap! Service: 9/10 Shockingly enough, the service was fast.

Either my expectation was too high or it was actually bad. The rice was really sticky, the satay were not flavorful, and the worst is the sambal. It was stinking and really sour. When i ask the staff about it they say "it's tomato" yeah man tomato doesn't smell like that.

The best one only kopi joss or ginger, all kind of satay was standart and most of all the satay have sweet taste, not suitable with me. I dont think eat here was cheap because i have to pay 55.000 for two people, consist of 1 coffee milk joss, 1 ginger, 9 pcs of satay, 2 packs of rice. Located in front of tugu train station and this angkringan was the biggest one and large in here compare to other that located in here also.

Angkringan, this place is called. Its place to eat where we are sitting under a mat, there are serving a street food, rice in small packages, have a live music from street musician. The interesting is the serving of coffee ... They using charcoal. For the taste... Its just a coffee

Kopi susu joss is a must here, it is a milk coffee served with charcoal. They have various types of sundukan, it is a traditional satay contains chicken, tempura, quail eggs, and some other traditional foods. They open until midnight during pandemics, stay safe and put your mask on while chit chating ?
