Perusahaan bekerja sama dengan Yayasan Kasih Anak Kanker Indonesia (YKAKI) selama periode 1 sampai 31 Januari serta 1 Juli sampai 31 Agustus 2017. Dana yang terkumpul sebanyak Rp 2,9 miliar dialokasikan untuk bantuan operasional 4 rumah singgah kanker di wilayah Makassar, Semarang, Pekanbaru, dan Malang yang telah dibangun menggunakan donasi konsumen periode sebelumnya.
“Rumah singgah tersebut dibangun untuk membantu meringankan beban biaya anak-anak penderita kanker serta keluarga pendamping, yang tengah menjalani pengobatan rawat jalan maupun rawat inap di luar daerah asalnya. Masing-masing rumah singgah biasanya berkapasitas 24 sampai 32 orang
Throughout 2017, Alfamart has channeled consumer donations worth more than IDR 10 billion through social programs managed by 5 credible foundations.
The company cooperated with the Indonesian Cancer Children Love Foundation (YKAKI) during the period 1 to 31 January and July 1 to August 31, 2017. The funds raised as much as Rp 2.9 billion were allocated for operational assistance for 4 cancer shelters in Makassar, Semarang, Pekanbaru and Malang which has been built using previous period consumer donations.
