That and him putting the note I gave him out of sight under the counter makes me suspect he did it deliberately. He told the train station staff he couldn't understand English but the note doesn't change colour and I used Indonesian.
Lelaki itu mengambil uang kertas Rp100.000 tetapi menguangkan uang Rp50.000. Dia memberi saya uang kembalian sebesar Rp50.000 dengan tampilan yang sangat malu-malu, tanpa pertanyaan, memberi saya 50.000 sisanya ketika saya menuntutnya. Itu dan dia meletakkan catatan yang kuberikan padanya di bawah meja membuatku curiga dia melakukannya dengan sengaja. Dia mengatakan kepada staf stasiun kereta api bahwa dia tidak bisa mengerti bahasa Inggris tetapi catatan itu tidak berubah warna dan saya menggunakan bahasa Indonesia.
