★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ayam Africa that sold here is basically a common Indonesian Ayam Ungkep Kuning with fried onion and sprinkle of salt on top. The sambal is a perfect match. You can choose to eat it with Rice or Banana.
I will recommend the lamb, it's tender and juicy.
This place located in a one-way road and does not have designated parking space for car. So if you do drive, you have to manage around to find your space.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well, I randomly found this place while looking around for food nearby the Cikini area with Google Maps. The name was captivated and led me to go there. It was located in a narrow street with a limited parking lot, even for a motorbike. There were some tables and benches inside to dine in around 20 people. The seller told me that there are three kinds of the main dish; lamb, chicken, and fish.
I tried their fried chicken with tofu, tempeh, and banana. I like how flavourful chicken was, even to its bone. The rice was well above my expectation because it was so fluffy, smelled good, and huge portion. The caramelized onion was delightful rather than our ordinary fried cabbage in Lalapan Lamongan. Fried flourless banana was so tender and good. Meanwhile, the sambal was too spicy for me, but it was good. I paid 24k for rice, fried chicken, tofu, tempeh, onion, and sambal, also 10k for fried banana.
Overall I was pleased with the food and nice vendor. I will be back to try their other main dish.

They called as african chicken menu because they serve with many fried onion ring and banana, their chilli sauce are very hot and spicy.
But they can have many space for car parking, you should bring motorcyle for comfort if you wish dine in

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is always my favorite. The chicken is crispy, well seasoned with fried onion, the drink size is so large and not to mention the cheap price of the items here. They also serve fried banana and it's delicious too. The onion is the one that makes this place unique. Delicious and cheap.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been long time wanted to try this place and finally tried it. I was expecting the chicken to be "black/burned" but it turns out the label "African" because in the past there are a lot of African tourist that had meals here. The taste is quite unique with their signature fried onion being served along with chicken or fish that you order. The chilli is moderately spicy. I believe if fried onion sweet taste is your favorite, you will come back here again, which made the menu experience quite unique. But for myself, mayve not so soon coming back eating here again. And also this location if not open 24/7, they open qiite late (not sure since it is pandemic situation when I tried it out), so one of places that you can visit for your latenight supper.
