★ ★ ★ ★ ★ MIND BLOWN! Found this place during a walking tour of kota tua and i was very pleasantly surprised.
I have never been a fan of jamu (except for the occassional midnight intisari and angmer gold... But those aren't jamu) and this place undoubtedly piqued my interest.
The premise of Acaraki is basically a hip cafe serving modern iterations of classical Jamu mixtures using modern barrista techniques. I have to say, it tasted GREAT. Whoever thought that kunyit with soda or beras kencur with ice cream would be a good drink to make is a GENIUS.
They also offer classes on how to make these modern Jamu drinks. Definitely worth checking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really enjoying my time here. It's very comfy and they have a unique interior design. They serve the premium "jamu" herbal drink, mixed with milk or yoghurt and made with an entertaining process and method. They also serve traditional jamu. They will be happy to tell you everything you wanna know about jamu.
Good engagement from the staff and we will get many experiences. They have indoor or outdoor area. Unfortunately they do not serve food during this pandemic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Traditional drinks located in the old part of town, I ordered the Tubruk/Medium from galangal and the Biji Salad which I liked although it was my first time tasting them and had no terms of reference.The place is super clean, service is friendly, has wifi and I quiet enjoyed. Prices are affordable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ it's hidden somewhere in one of the alleys and it's definitely a gem! modern cafe that sells traditional drink with a twist! the place is not too big but comfy enough to enjoy a glass of golden sparkling or bareskrim. prices ranges between 30k to 40 k ish also they got some simple snacks such as singkong goreng and tape goreng, yummmss!
