★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The 'Limb for the Limbless Center' is a noble initiative by Sadhu Vaswani Center, Jakarta that provides prosthetic limbs to patients in need. Beneficiaries are able to come in early in the morning and be fitted with a limb on the very same day. In certain cases where a calamity has occurred, and patients are not able to come to this center due to proximity issues; experts from this center can visit them, conduct check ups and take measurements for the prosthetic limb sizing that are made in this center. Once ready, the limbs are brought to the patients where they live and experts then attach it for them. Experts from the Jaipur Foot Technology have transferred their knowledge and skills to local technicians for the manufacturing of the prosthetic limbs. Service is provided to those in need free of charge.
