★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have a huuuge delicious rendang! All of the food taste very authentic compared with other Rumah Makan Padang I've tried before. So far, my favorite one is Ayam Balado. It is very crowded during lunch because of office workers. They located right beside the main road with a quite large parking area and ATM machines.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I remember a time when my father died and my friends bought me dinner when seeing me so exhausted after a day of agony.
I once asked them where they got the nasi Padang as it tasted superb, even for a mourning little guy like me. They told me that the restaurant was located within Griya Asri shopping complex, and this evening I suddenly decided to have my dinner there.
I was the only visitor there. The waiter served me a plate of full Padang dishes, with rendang as the main course. The beef rendang was so massive! The beef was so tender and to my surprise, it was medium-rare! Well I didn't expect such experience in a small Padang restaurant. It cost me IDR 27K including a plate of extra rice and a glass of plain iced tea.
However, the owner could have paid attention to its hygiene, I suppose. When I washed my hands, I learned that a shaving razor was hanging near the wash bowl (it must have belonged to one of the staff). The soap was mixed with too much water and didn't clean my hands well.
All in all, I'll definitely make my second visit!
