Masjid ini termasuk masjid lama. Seingat saya Akhir 70an (mungkin sekitar 1977/1978) saya lewat jalan ini, masjid Jami Darussalam sudah ada.
Seiring berjalannya waktu, masjid ini mengalami berbagai renovasi hingga kebentuknya yang sekarang, menjadi 2 lantai.
Uniknya lagi adalah selain memiliki tempat wudhu biasa di dalam area masjid, saat ini juga memiliki tempat wudhu diseberang jalan (luar area masjid). Jamaah bisa langsung naik tangga dan melalui jembatan diatas jalan langsung menuju lantai 2 masjid.
The mosque is quite large and is located in the middle of residential areas.
This mosque is an old mosque. As I recall, in the late 70s (probably around 1977/1978) I passed this road, the Jami Darussalam mosque was already there.
Over time, the mosque underwent various renovations to its present form, becoming 2 floors.
Another unique thing is that besides having an ordinary ablution place inside the mosque area, now it also has a place of ablution across the street (outside the mosque area). Pilgrims can go directly up the stairs and through the bridge over the road directly to the 2nd floor of the mosque.
