★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a person who spent 18 years living in Riau I found the taste of the nasi goreng was very similiar to nasi goreng that was sold on the canteen back in elementary school. It’s light, not too oily, not too spicy and taste really good! And thumbs up for the omelette!
Don’t forget also about the Martabak Kubang, it’s really got the authentic taste and the sauce also got the perfect blend between salty and spicy. One thing, you should order the ice tea, but don’t surprised if it’s taste really sweet. Because that’s how they make the ice tea back in Sumatra, very sweet but I loved it.
