β β β β β Finally had the opportunity to visit this noodle joint, after being recommended by a friend of mine more than a month ago. Ordered 2 bakmi komplit, 1 bakmi biasa, and 1 kwetiau biasa. The taste was pretty good, typical bakmi medan style with their dark colored pieces of chicken and pork mixed together with boiled egg. Always enjoyed eating these with the cut chili achar and the chili sauce (pictures attached). the The komplit version basically has 1 extra fish ball, beefball, and 2 sui kiauw. Didn't really fancy shrimp so my favorite one was the beefball which had the right proportion of beefy taste and nicely textured.
It is conveniently located on the corner Ruko unit of PIK marketplace. Upon arrival at around 8.30 Sunday morning, I was quickly hosted by a waiter who attentively showed us 4 empty seats. Thought I was lucky to immediately get a seat because it was busy time, with just as much people waiting for their to go orders and the ones eating there. Service was quite attentive, except for one mbak2, who spent much of her time standing around the tables and looking busy, but unlike the other ones, she just acknowledged the numerous requests given to her by customers but didn't bother to follow up with them. She did it to me, my wife, and 2 other customers beside us. Think her name is Sari, wearing blue uniform in the picture attached.
In contrast, the dish lady, who cleans the tables and refills the utensils on the tables, is waay better in providing service to the customers on my side of the shop. She deserves an upgrade

β β β β β Going to PIK area in the morning and decided to try the infamous Bakmi Lamlo. As expected, they're pretty busy in the breakfast time (I visited around 9.30 AM). I and friend ordered Bakmi (with egg) and Bakso Goreng (Fried Meatballs), and completed our meal with Liang Teh. Bakmi Lamlo is typical Indonesian style bakmi with sweet soy chicken as topping and they're using small curly noodle, taste wise is pretty nice and easily accepted by my palate. For their Bakso Goreng (you gonna get 2 pieces of fried meatballs in a portion), is nice but not that overly good, pretty nice to be ordered to accompany your noodle's time βΊοΈ. Their Liang Teh is so so, with a little hint of bitterness here and there, but pretty nice liang teh overall. Bakmi Lamlo is one of pretty nice noodle place to be chosen as your breakfast option. For Bakmi Lamlo, i'm gonna rate them 4.25 out of 5.

β β β β β The taste of the food is nothing special and the texture of the noodles tends to be hard. the price too expensive and portions are small, when I order this food, the order that came was take too long.

β β β β β TLDR: Overpriced, Bad Service, hard noodle texture, taste just so-so and too much pepper in the noodles and soup.
2 noodles with egg Rp 96k
small bottles of soy milk & liang tea Rp 24k.
Bad service. We came here on Sat 9AM, and there was an empty slots for 4 persons. A Lady with blue shirt was kind nice, she asked whether we have our order. And she help us by call her other collagues (who's in charge to take order). It tooks looooooong time to came to our table. And when I came inside, the other staff gesture shows tha he will came to our table. But when he came, he still yelling to his other collagues while I asked him a question.
We ordered 2 noodles with egg. It tooks so long to be served.
When we're done and came to the front table (with a calculator) I assume that is where we asked for the bills. I called a Man (I assumed the boss/owner) who was spoked in front of the kitchen door. I wait until he was finished talk and I called him that we wanted to pay. But he ignored us and went to the back store. And No ONE noticed us, until one of the man staff ask us what we need and he called another friend (Sari,if I read from other reviewers) to help us. I told her We want to pay, then she asked what we have (turns out she mistakenly took a not for an order and before she continued, I told her again that We want to pay).
I guess the owner, staffs does not care for their customers satisfaction.

β β β β β Quite good.... complete meal. Lots of stuff inside the dish.
Be mindful that the queue might be long.

β β β β β One of the better noodle area in pik. Located in the fresh market pik. Parking is plenty as long as you want to walk far. For the noodles itself, taste very good and chewy. The topping itself is plenty if you order the complete set. Beware of the crowd though.
