β β β β β Taste
Still one of my favorite noodle so far.
You can choose between chicken thigh or chicken breast and to complete the experience you will also get one bowl of chicken broth that taste so good.
Price
A bit pricey for my taste but I still can tolerate that.
Service
As I came during a peak hour, I wasn't get a great experience so I really suggested that you put that in mind as this place really busy and parking might be another thing to consider as well.
Actually this place used to be my family go-to-place for a bowl of noodle every Sunday and never came back because I can find another Bakmi Ayam Alok store on my neighborhood and after several years I go back and find there's several things that I can suggest for the owner to take a look:
1. The Waiting Time.
During my last visit, I have to wait about 45 minutes for my noodle. Don't you think it's quite too long? Honestly I really like your noodle (it's one of my favorite) so I really hope the owner can
2. The Cleanliness.
I do understand that maintain the Cleanliness on a busy and high turnover customer might be challenging but I still believe it will be doable.

β β β β β A must try for mie karet lovers, located at jl mangga (between tj duren and greenville). This is their first branch, opened since 1978. Have many other branches at malls and ruko2. Medium hard noodle with ayam kampung topping is their specialty.

β β β β β Amazing experience, rich flavored noodles and soup. I had the special chicken noodle, ordering the thighs and it was super juicy and tender.
There was so many take out orders when I came and there was a waiting list because they have reduced the seating capacity to 50%. I came towards the end of the lunch shift but there were still so many people coming. Definitely a place to be especially if you wanted wholesome lunch.
I can't wait to return to this place and order their fried wontons and fried meatballs. They look delicious.
Perhaps the only concern was the small parking area for car.

β β β β β Location : Grogol, Jakarta Barat, Indonesia.
Bakmi Alok, you don't have to bother choosing a menu because he only offers one type of noodle, namely βbakmi karetβ topped with sliced ββchicken, no pork. But what makes it unique is that you can choose two versions of the oil for the noodles, namely using lard or chicken oil.
The difference in taste from these two oils is that pork oil tastes savory and really good aroma but not too salty, but chicken oil tastes saltier, so it depends on your taste which one you like.
You can choose between thigh and breast, foodies, this time I tried the chicken thigh meat and you should know that the texture is very soft with a salty and savory taste that makes the taste even more delicious
Eating noodles is definitely incomplete if it's not accompanied by dumplings and meatballs.
Make your own sweet dumplings with minced pork filling. The skin of the dumplings is thick and the gravy is better with spring onions. As for the meatballs themselves, the texture is not so chewy, but rather the taste of the meat is strong.
Another plus point from Bakmi Alok is that their service is really fast because as you can see in the photos you can see, they cook really 'cheesy' so you don't have to wait long to enjoy the true delicacy of Bakmi Alok.

β β β β β Confusing name.. Aloi or Alok?
Served on plate is rather new things for me, because usually served on bowl.
Taste is ok, delicious but i can't find a plus point or real USP (unique selling proposition) there. Price is affordable for some customers.
Service is standard.
Pangsit goreng is not recommended for me, especially i usually eat pangsit goreng in some restaurants in Malang. Different thickness and taste with Malang cuisine.
Location is ok. Car parking area is limited.
Payment : cash, card and online payment application.

β β β β β The best bakmi ever. The Ayam kampung is so tender and juicy. Wow. Price a bit high. But it's worth it.
Don't forget to try the cendol outside.

β β β β β Traditional home-made noodle with special chicken broth make delicious chicken noodle. You can order chicken meat (generous amount of meat) or wonton soup (pangsit rebus) as side dish to your chicken noodle.
